How does a rose gardener survive 8 or more hours away from their garden? Cut and carry, of course! Here's a bouquet I put together for my desk yesterday:

From the left, that's Wild Blue Yonder, Jude the Obscure tucked at the edge of the vase, a bud of Souvenir de Louis Amade, Poseidon, Geschwind's Orden at 3 o'clock and just peaking over a Poseidon bud is Evelyn, with snapdragon and clover in the center. In the mirror behind you can see more of the spray of WBY.

The girls at work say I must have a "fabulous" garden to bring in such flowers all the time. Truth is, it's much easier to make a vase of blooms look good than it is to have a perfect garden. There are no weeds in this bouquet, LOL!
