I am finally getting to work on tapping the old well at our house to water my plants. I measured the other day (after several VERY dry weeks). It is about 48 feet to the top of the water, and maybe 3 feet of water at the bottom. I need to figure out if I want a hand pump, or a small electric pump with maybe a solar panel? but, what kind? Anyone?
