I would actually paint your bathroom door.. A fresh white. I would also purchase some pictures with red frames to put on the wall. Either layed out with two or a box of four. two on top - two down the bottom on one of the walls. I would also toy with the idea of removing the towel rail and move it to a lower position (I cant quite tell what that white rod is that is on the left running to the shower screen. If I could paint that a red - that might tie in quite nice. Love your tile choice :)

The overall color looks fine. Perhaps add some accessories such as art on the walls or a floor mat.

I'd add a really cool piece of artwork on the white tiled wall - bring in more colour than just the red and white - you need a "Pop" of something - might as well be artwork...
