ROOTING A H. SUBCALVA......

Hi. Well I HAVE a rooted cutting of H.Subcalva...i just got it today, off of EBay. As you can see it is VERY well rooted!

I shocked to get a cutting that actually HAS roots. BUT as you see it has roots all along the stem. It is about 8in long. It must have been laying on the top of soil, the roots were covered in soil/debris, I washed them a bit to see the condition of the roots, and they are soft and white...not dried out aerial roots.

BUT now what do i do? How do I 'pot it up'? There is no growing 'crown' at the moment, as you see the top leaf has nothing growing there. I know which way it will put out new growth, when it does. But which way do I 'root' this cutting? Which would make a bigger ,faster growing plant, and hopefully bloom sooner. Should I place it on the top of soil in maybe a clay saucer, and pin it down to the soil? Or just stick it in a small pot, and let it re-root at the bottom and let the rest of the roots dry out and hope for the best?
