This might have been asked before, but please indulge me (and probably several others on here)---- what sites do you enjoy spending time on besides the obvious HOUZZ?

(so I edited and changed the subject in going with the flow )

As for me, there are fewer and fewer but in addition to this one,

I like city-data forums (all sorts ranging from specific cities to reading etc), spoofee (check daily for occassional excellent "deals"), of course, tripadvisor. A newer one to me, sort of decadent but entertaining is Previouslytv.

looking for others ~~~ please do share.

I still love eBay. I can lose hours exploring a special vintage item or looking for that perfect ironstone bowl.

Go Fug Yourself

It's occasionally R rated for language but I enjoy Go Fug Yourself. It's a comedy blog about fashion and celebrity. The writers, imo, do a great job of being funny and insightful without being trashy or hurtful.

edited to add - Sheila, one of the writers for Go Fug used to write for TWOP which was the original version of Previouslytv

Yes to city-data. It's always nice to see a friendly face from here on cd. I like Amazon, Google, YouTube, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Utrecht, I'm sure there are others but can't think of them all.

It really isn't a big deal but I suspect you're referring to Vancouver Island (not Victoria island). Victoria is the capital of British Columbia and Victoria is located on Vancouver Island.

The only blogs I check regularly are Hooked on Houses, Between Naps on the Porch and Home is Where the Boat is. I check eBay for my saved searches every day. I look forward to seeing what's recommended on this thread for possible new-to-me sites.

When I'm shopping, it's Nordstrom, Amazon, N-M, and I hit Google a lot it seems like for specific things. I also read several news sites, some local, plus Fox and USA today for general catching up. And I keep up with my running buddies on a private FB site. We arrange meet up runs thru the week and weekends.

I guess I have not really checked out blogs very often, mostly looking for forums ( like this) but I will definitely give the blogs a whirl.
