Campanulata help

This plant is a recent arrival to me, and arrived by mail when the weather was rather hot. I soaked for several hours before planting, but it has 2 yellow leaves now and 2 more that are not looking great.

Maybe a humidity bag under my grow light will help? Any other ideas or suggestions? I do not want to lose this one!

I'm a newbie to Hoyas so I'm not going to be able to give much in the way of advice but I did recently receive some Hoyas in the mail and a couple of them had some yellow leaves and some healthy leaves. I think they were H. lobbii and H. cv Ruthie but once the yellow leaves fell off, the healthy parts stayed healthy and look much better now. If you soaked it after you got it, I'm not sure what is left to do. I'm sure the experts will chime in soon. Good luck.

BTW, congrats on getting a campanulata, I want one sooooo much.

Thank you, I removed the two yellow leaves, put a bag over it to help with humidity, and gave it a foliar feed with Tappin Roots. I think it is just stress from transit, overall the plant is quite healthy with a fabulous root system. I am doing well with javanica and praetorii (so far), hopefully my luck continues with this one!

It does recover quickly, and grows quite fast, too, once it recovers. The trip from Thailand was not kind to it.

Yes, this is the one you sent me. It was great when I got it, but the heat.... ugghhh. So far it still has the peduncle! If it loses it well, it will grow more I am sure. Spokane is hot and dry this time of year, so keeping it inside. I will pick up some containers for semi hydro on my way home and switch it back to that. Does this one grow similar to multiflora? Not sure how much light it will want.

And I am sure it will recover. Are the ones I sent you doing ok? The other one I got from you, the UT-168, is perfect.

Yes, it likes multiflora conditions, but can tolerate brighter light (although my multiflora apparently didn't get the low-light memo...it is perfectly happy in it's bright, indirect sun spot outside).

The ones you sent me are happy and thriving!

That is perfect, mine is next to a West window, there is room for campanulata there to join. And one day I will find lockii! My darn work didn't give us our bonus last week, so I had to abstain from bidding on that beauty you were offering. It is supposed to be on this weeks check though, so I can start my lockii hunt again.

The UT-168 now, that one seriously arrived looking like it had just been clipped off. Think it may have started rooting already. Does that one grow as fast as UT-002? And also, has yours bloomed yet?

Not sure I mentioned this, the D. pectinoides I sent came from Doug. He grows it on pure long fiber spaghnum in high humidity. In case that helps any. :)

Is your campanulata faring any better? Crossing fingers it pulls through!

Oh and sp. UT-168 grows, not terribly fast, but it is not too much of a slowpoke.

I have d. Pectinoides mounted on cork bark lined with sphag! Little roots are already forming!

Ooohh, I bet that looks adorable mounted like that! Glad it is rooting already for you.

Pretty sure my UT-168 has rooted, and campanulata is doing much better. I moved it today to a humidity tray and am hoping it is happy where I have it. There is one more leaf I think that may drop, and I removed the two yellow ones. I am pretty sure the killer root system it grew under your care made all the difference in its recovery, and the peduncle is holding fast!
