Please vote on mirror

My masterbath project is finally underway so I really have to pick a mirror. I have decided to go with a round mirror. This will be centered over a 36" trough sink I would like a 36" mirror with a bevel and a minimal frame in dark metal or wood. I am having trouble finding what I would like.

Here is my bath illustration, in the corner over the mirror is a ship's knee from post and beam construction.

Here is my mash-up with one potential mirror(pendants are also an open issue)

#1 The mirror shown is by Bassett, it is 36", what I dont like it the pendant fob on the top.

Other mirror contenders are (closckwise starting from the top left):

#2 Pottery Barn Walker Antiqued: 42", so maybe too big, have mixed feelings about antiqued mirror glass

#3 Cooper Classics Daniel: 34", has the bevel, is the frame too wide with the busyness of my beams?

#4 Capitol Lighting Mirror: 32" and out of stock, I really need to eliminate that one

#5 Corrigan Studio Mirror, 34" dark metal band, no bevel. My DH's choice.

Please vote!

I like #2. The juxtaposition of the wooden beam, and that almost "glam" all mirror, mirror, is really pleasing.

I actually agree with your DH, I think there is enough going on in that space that most of the others could be too much. I wonder what style you are going for though? The other mirrors have a bit more glamour and if you are going for that I prefer your out of stock choice. Agree that the piece at the top of the first mirror seems out of place in your setting.

I think 5 is the best choice. You have enough wood going on and another material sets it off nicely.

#3 (the PB mirror). I doubt the glass is antiqued. Don't they mean the frame?

mommyjoy- the style of my home is modern farmhouse

Rob- ironically your use of the word 'glam' to describe mirror #2 is another nail in its coffin, if it tends to glam, that means it is not something that will endure for me, its not true to my nature. Thanks for helping me see and acknowledge that .

ded- I hate it when DH is right :)

tibb- all of the mirror is antique, not just the frame. Shown very clearly on the website(this link is the square mirror because it shows it better but it is clear in both images on their site) walker antique mirror

Do you think it is 'glam' ?

Then I love 5 (I would never even ask my DH to avoid having him be right haha) I think it fits that style perfectly and the size seems good. I wish it was this easy to pick finishes for my own bathroom!

I would not want antiqued glass in a bathroom mirror.

This is the one in your batch I like. Doesn't seem to be the Walker.

OK so here is where we are

most people like the 34" Corrigan Studio mirror with the thin dark metal band

Tibbs- likes the Cooper Classic 34" mirror with the wood and metal frame

Tibbs threw in another option a 36" CB2 Infinity mirror with a thin aluminum band

    34" Corrigan Studio

#3,. I think it would hold it's own with the beams. Just my opinion but I wouldn't want anything to delicate with the beams.

    What is your vanity finish?

These are my finishes, the vanity is by Schrock, in Cherry, the finish is called Tundra. It is a rich warm brown, it matches the knots in my posts and beams.

    Oh, definitely the Cooper.

    I love the Cooper.

First, no 3 (color, wood), then no. 5.

Of course, if 31 1/2" would work, I really like the IKEA Stockholm mirror (99.00)

I like #3 it fits with the beam and all your other choices. 5 is a far second for me. 2 is out out out. It just doesn't feel right .. it's pretty.. but not for this room.

    LOVE your choices!
