Pootea

Well, I finally made a big investment. I really didn't want to but once I found an air pump for $1 I scrounged and spent another $2 on tubing and a stone. So, I have my first batch of mechanically-aerated tea brewing (I used to aerate it myself, MAJOR pain). Its probably a 1:10 or more of worm castings to compost but for now my castings are limited so I supplement with compost. I figure the bacteria will multiply without needing large amounts of VC.

Ahhh, I can't believe I posted that. What a sight lol

I used a spoon full of unsulphurated molasses and panty hose filled with VC and compost.

I plan to use some tomorrow but I am curious, what have you all found to be the optimal brew times for tea? Do you use different recipes? 100% VC if you have plenty or maybe other ingredients?
