I am thinking about making some salves to put in gift baskets and I've done research on different oils that can be used. It seems to me that one of the most common used is olive oil. I actually bought one that has olive oil in it and it smells awful. I don't even like to cook with olive oil because of the taste/smell. So my question is: what other oil would be suitable to use without having to worry about a wide variety of allergens?
