DARK GREYS?

Hi. Thanks for any help you can offer. My older 3 bath / 2 story home is painted chocolate (think: Hershey chocolate bar) with white trim.
I figure I should paint over this with something dark. I am in love with the new palates of grey. I am imagining a mid-dark grey with the slightest touch of lavender. Any ideas? THANKS
