Hi! I'm in Seattle and we're having a hot/cool mix matched summer. I've just moved into a new house with a plot that I cleared that has sun for most of the day. I've planted roses, Lupines, shasta daisies, lavendar, delphiniums, heather, lavatera, and flowering thyme.

A lot of the plants seem to be doing well but the daisies, heather,

and the Lupines are struggling. Is it too much sun? Too much water? I've had good luck with my Dutch hoe to aerate the soil. My roses are dry, but what's going on with the rest?!

This is my first attempt at gardening without my mum to help me so please let me know if you can help!
