I'm having a patio put in and you KNOW my main irrigation line had to run right through that area. The guys ended up cutting it which was fine. Now I need to repair it. I have all the tools and such so I set out to do it yesterday. I spliced in new wire and then i connected the new pipe.

My issue is that in one of the connection areas, it wants to leak. I did and redid it like 4 times and it won't stop the leak. This is in the main line so it has constant water pressure in it.

Any advice on ways to do it other than repeating the above until i get a good seal? I'm thinking at this point i might cut some line out and get fresh poly tube there as the other stuff could have weakened? Not sure if there is a special way to repair main lines.
