Oh mercy! Such prolific and gorgeous bushes!! Love lovelove!! And yay for cafe!! It's soooo gorgeous! I had one HUGE stalk to break off with a ton of buds and it was, of course, the one already blooming. Still waiting on the others to open! There you are in Sweden getting blooms before me! Lol!

Smooth Moonlight, love the name and rose. I thought Alte Liebe, well named, a little faded looking. Queen Elizabeth, very " regal" looking and Mami blue and the dahlia stunning.

Beautiful, Sharlene! Belami Kordana and Smooth Moonlight are lovely! I love the unique color of Alte Liebe, and Mamy Blue is a perfect lavender, love it! Wish I still had my Queen Elizabeth bushes that were so vigorous. I have one now, but it is struggling.

Thanks all!! I really love all my roses quite a few of which I have acquired after seeing pictures posted here. Judy and April were the enablers for my Café au Lait! I love it too - huge blooms!!! I had quite a hard time finding it. Here in Switzerland there was one vendor but with horrendous postage rates. In the end, I ordered it from Poland at a quarter of the price! Have to make sure Café survives the winter!

Oh my all your roses are beautiful! and your photography is so clear and crisp. I love that we are able to see roses from all over the world on this forum. That cafe au lait is wonderful, I need to consider growing dahlias.

    Thanks!

Boncrow66 - you really should because they are beautiful. I think Café au Lait is the most stunning I have ever grown! They are a bit of a hassle in the colder zones because we have to lift them but they are worth the extra work when you are rewarded with blooms like that!

Alte Liebe has turned out to be a really good rose. She came in a mixed bag - 10 roses for EUR20.- I was a bit disappointed because they doubled up - 2 each of Oklahoma, Sutter's Gold and Carina all of which I already had and then 2 each of Alte Liebe and Rose Guajard. But what can you say at that price!

Ann - my Belami Kordana is still growing in a pot, four years now and I really have to repot it this autumn or plant it out. The Kordana series are sold as grocery store minis but a lot of them do very well in the garden and are winter hardy in our zone. I really recommend trying to grow grocery store minis, especially the Kordanas, in the garden. Just remember that if they grow, which all of mine have, some can get quite large!

Ruby Ice and Blue River are intriguing! What spectacular dahlia-like form on Café Au Lait! Thanks!

Oh no wonder! It IS a dahlia! Glorious.
