They would probably grow...but what is a big unknown. They will more than likely be hybrids, so you will get a mix of bush, pole, red, and maybe even some other colors. You can grow them out, then save seed from the plants that have the traits that you desire.

Not all beans taste good! Flavor is the first thing to select for, then disease resistance, vigor, production, many other things.

If this is just a fun experiment, then go for it. Otherwise, bean seeds are cheap, why not just buy what already suits your criteria?

What is your definition of a "good quality bean"? Beans are self pollinating and most don't readily cross so the beans in the bag will grow true. Of course I have no idea what type of beans you are talking about since Goya sells several. However, all of them would be meant to be grown for dry beans. They might be okay as shellies as well. As a green bean their quality is an unknown and you'd be better off planting a variety meant for this purpose.

concur. Whatever is in the bag is what you get and they will be varieties that are best for dried beans. Unless they have been siiting on store shelves too long, germination should be fine.
