Nervous kitchen remodeller!!

Earlier I had posted pics of our current kitchen and basically your opinions were to simplify this 'hot mess' kitchen!! Well we hired a kitchen Reno company and basically the kitchen has been gutted and redesigned! I am nervous and would like your opinion on our selection for the finishings. We chose dove white for perimeter cupboards and the dark sample for large rectangle island, Taj Mahal for counters and glass mosaic for backsplash.. This is a large open concept room with Windows along the back wall....your opinion on this selection??? We need ideas on what color to stain the hardwood and also a wall color?... Would love your feedback!

You hired a designer. You should be having a conversation with them. You don't need a third fourth and fifth oar stuck in the middle of your relationship with your designer. It will only confuse you and make you unhappy with your choices.

Call your designer. She is paid to hold your hand and help you with your choices.

I agree with Sophie. Besides, showing an unfinished project on Houzz will get you comments on items you didn't ask for and make you doubt all the decisions you've already made. I always hire professionals once I've gathered my thoughts, then I trust their judgement. Good luck, you're doing well.

I would get a counter depth refrigerator unless your moving it to an area where it doesn't stick out so much.
You color choices etc. are beautiful.

I love the selections on the towel - if that's what you've chosen - I love it! I think the rich wood stain will look great with the backsplash & counter. If your designer helped you pick those, then I would trust his/her taste in guiding you in paint color as well. I'm just jealous you have a KD - mine flaked on me & I went it alone & often wish I had one to guide me. Take advantage of their knowledge.

Sorry is this the new kitchen because this is a really dated look already I do like the selections of finishes though

i feel like a lighter coffee brown would be a great paint color for your walls if thats what you were meaning... also when ypu say hardwood staining are you meaning the floors or your cupboards?

Thank you everyone for your advise!! I did pick out the finishings here and just a bit worried since over the years I have made some pretty poor choices and wasted too much money!! Lost my confidence!! My KD just kind of agrees with what I have chosen....I should be confident and content with that!! I appreciate your time to respond and to give me your input!!

When your KD does that and you're not confident about your choice, ask KD for their opinion or suggestion. Sometimes my architect just agrees, do I specifically ask what they would do in that situation. If he still agrees, then I let go of the issue. If he suggests otherwise, I think about both options and decide. It's your home that's why they won't push, it's them being professional, which is admirable. If something really won't look good, trust that they'd stop you, allow them that freedom. Like I said earlier, your choices are good.
