I have a question about fertilizers: what do you think of Osmocote for 10 weeks seedlings?

In the search above type, Gritty mix a lot of us use a variation of it for out climate. You can also type fertilizer. I think it used lightly at about a month. Pot size is usual 2" from caudex all the around to the pot edge. How are you going to grow these. Not sure what you planted. I bonsai the tree's so I use shallow pots. Are you going for twisted caudex's that grow under ground first Lots of info just type your basic needs. Then you will have more questions.

Pagan, what a wonderful and extremely helpful site you have set up there! Not too mention the talent for witty writing. I spent half of last night reading, loved it. Will return often to use it as a reference manual.

Wow, I am really enjoying reading Pagan's blog. We apparently have a very similar sense of humor and have nearly identical methods in general, all the way down to the kind of lights I'm using when things are indoors. As I'm new to trying adeniums, his blog is answering a lot of my questions. Thank you for the direct.

Thanks, you guys. I've fixed some of the broken links that I did not realize were broken. When my sister and I were just starting, we really needed an organized source of information and could not find any so we made one. Also, I personally like that I have no need to self-censor over there. It's very gratifying to know it helps, even if it feels a bit icky linking it here. Added info is always welcome!

Don't feel icky. I really like your blog. Thank you for sharing it with us, Pagan. I've been growing for about 40 years and more but relatively new to adeniums, if not bonsai and succulents. I have 250 seeds of mixed varieties coming so I expect to be busy.
