There are a number of "Black" skinned trees. Just dark pigmentation. With many of them the dark skin is one the upper most of the branches and some right down onto the base.

The Black RCN that I had was dark on branches and bled down onto the caudex. These are always enhanced by wetting down before photo's.

This Black RCN is nothing compared to some of them around.

Comsan Can had one shown called "Black Hawk" and the skin was so dark and right down onto the caudex.
