In our new, timber frame home with SIPS roof, there seem to be piles of shredded stuff (insulation?) on the loft floor, with an occasional ant exoskeleton. There is a gap of about 1/2 inch between the interior timber and the finished gable end wall. Any idea of the possible cause of this?
