What are the interior dimensions of the shelves? I am trying to determine what could fit on the middle shelf. Thank you.

    Hi there, thanks for your inquiry regarding the Kitchen Island with Solid American Hardwood Top. The shelves are 17 1/4 inches wide by 31 1/2 inches long. The height for the top shelf is 13 1/5 inches and the height on the bottoms is roughly 14 inches. I hope that this will suit your needs!

    What is the Length of the wood top? Is it 40"? Width of shelves 20? and Height 36.5?

    Hello, the overall dimensions of this kitchen island are 40 inches long, 20 inches deep and 36.5 inches high. The counter surface is the longest and widest points, so it measures 40 inches long by 20 inches deep. The shelves are 17 1/4 inches wide by 31 1/2 inches long.
