Okay, guess mine is female too. It's outside with the rest of the jungle but I can post a picture in the morning (dark now). I like Chamaedoreas in the house. My other two are Bamboo Palm and Parlor Palm. BTW, metalica is one HARDY palm. Much cold hardier than you would suspect but also tolerant of drought (not that common in palms), and other abuse. I really respect this species.
