You're welcome! The tags look familiar, if these are from JJ's there should be a variety name on the tags.

I also like to wait a season before up potting any purchased rooted plants. They seem pretty tall so you may have to weigh down the container until you up pot.

You are right. Looks like you have a winner there on the classic "Scott Pratt", I am not familiar with "Playful" variety but if that is the true picture of the bloom it looks like a keeper.

BTW, I got some 5 years ago and I did repot them to biggest black pot from orchard. now they are 6 feet tall. Bigger the pot, bigger the plant grow.....

Yes I got it from San Jose orchard supply. I was actually looking for a celadine but they didn't have any so I decided to get these 2 and hopefully it will bloom for me. At this point any plumeria that will bloom will make me happy since I only got cuttings and trying to root them.

Question about fertilizer. I have worm casting and spray N grow is there anything else I need?

I picked up a Playful with the same tag from Home Depot here north DFW TX.. I've had it for a few years, no blooms yet. I've read that they grow tall and lanky.

I'd hold off on repotting until spring. No need to disturb the roots, just let the plant go dormant and wake it up in a new pot.

As far as fertilizer, you can ask 100 Plumeria growers about what fertilizer to use and you'll get 70 different answers, lol. They all will agree that the fertilizer should have a high middle number, just not on how high it should be, lol. I purchased a product with a 60 middle number, then was told by a few experienced growers that that was too high. I met with a experienced grower last weekend only to be told and shown that they use that same product with great results.

A few years and no blooms? Oh great lol I wanted to see blooms asap that's why I got the rooted plants. Oh well eventually it will bloom one day. Yes it does look tall and lanky I thought it look different from the other ones.

I haven't done anything to it beside watering and maybe gave it some spray and grow fertilizer. I thought about plunging it into a bigger pot but not too sure how I am suppose to do that. Thank goodness for the internet I can search.

I totally agree with you about fertilizers. There are so many out there and so many different answers. So far I got superthrive, vitamin B1, spray N grow, and Dyna-Gro foliage. I also have the worm casting soil which I love, I put on my other plants and they're loving it especially my hot peppers. I am planning to get a couple more fertilizers next year but we shall see.
