stopp placing your furniture at the edge of the room, no need for that...

pull the sofa in closer to the fireplace, put one chair on either side of the fireplace angled by the windows.

lose the table between the two chairs all together.

lose the love seat and any chair not used every day.

start art shopping. large pieces nothing too small.

start curtain shopping.

the color of the walls are fine.

layer an area rug over the carpet to break it up.

can you replace or paint some of the tables?

the minute you cozy up the furniture, and add art to the walls it will feel more complete.

also throw pillows, and throw blankets.

basically you set the furniture in there, and left it all blank. that is the only reason it seems cold.
