Pot it up in the appropriate, well drained soil and water it. Do not put it into full sunshine, if you are putting it outside. They are easy plants and forgiving of mistakes. Good luck.

Why soak it in water? You know it's a succulent right?

Don't ship with wet paper towels. Causes root rot. I mostly dry mine out for a few days and then ship dry. Plant dry and water lights or mist in a few days. Unless it's really hot out then ok to water as soon as you can.

One more thing. Are these serious problems on these leaves? The big leaf came with small spot but is getting bigger over time. The yellow one is over time too. Just wondering if its poor watering or some thing else.

Rob, I could be wrong but I see nothing wrong with your leaves. You can cut off the dead section but not into the leaf to improve image but what I see is the all yellow section growing and not knowing it's history or type, may mean it's doom. Must be connected to a healthy green section to supply food to it. Leaf tips dye due to damage or drought or insects. Doesn't look like fungus decease or blight. If unsure of decease, spray mist with alcohol base mouthwash. Sprinkle a little sulfur dust into the soil. The kind they sell for acid loving plants in the stores.

Thanks. I was worried about a fungus. The yellow one should be yellow its called bright yellow [that's new growth}. I assume it turns green with age. It came from arid lands. the masoniana 4th pic same from ebay. So is that that how you should handle fungus on sans vs some fungicide they have at the store. Thanks again for your help

If you suspect fungus, by all means use the fungicide and be safe.
