Is that a 1" X 1" mosaic? Pretty busy and a lot of grout. You may be able to pull it off since the kitchen is fairly monochromatic. Can you obtain samples of the tile or purchase one sheet of each to bring home to get a better idea?

And what about the Bari? The Lucca looks like it has a lot more blue, Bari appears to be greyer, but can't really tell from monitor pics.

We're planning to use the 1X4. I did bring home samples, just trying to decide between the Pisa and Lucca.

I prefer the Lucca.

How about light gray glass subway tiles.

The white or grey subway tiles are a good conservative solution but we want something with a little more pizzazz :). As I mentioned the counter has green undertone so hoping some green in the backsplash will look good.

Pisa would complement nicely and provide the "zing".

As promised, here are pictures of the Lunada Bay Tile Pisa Pearl 1x4 bricks backsplash. Unfortunately, for now, I don't have under counter lighting to really show them off. I'm really happy with how they look.
