I am very interested in this fig! Could I pay the owners and you for cuttings?

I'm in Canada so I'm unable to ship across the border otherwise I would ask.
I had to say the flavour is rather bland after trying a few other figs. Almost has a cucumber taste which is weird.

It is a nice fig,but you picked it unripe.

every each one is unripe.

And is only Aug 5,so there was enough Summer left so they would have gotten ripe.

You pick those when they have a wrinkled skin,that is when they are ripe.

Then they will taste delicious not like cucumber.?!/.

Those fruits are ,breba crop,of Longue D'Aout,a very delicious French fig.

The pix here is main crop,fruits but yours are breba.

Both crops delicious if left to ripe properly,if not,they will taste like cucumber and even worse!.

Fig were given to me however, they are soooo soft that I assume that that the neighbours figured they were ready. Really really soft.
Here we cannot ripen main crops. Only breba due to short summers :(. That's one of the things I have learned.

I believe it's a brown fig. Possible brown turkey fig according to original home owners. Looks like I will be getting a cutting!
