If I purchased that plant, I would see if it's mixed in with other types. Separate it and grow it on it's own to see what pups it produced. My rule, 'You can't judge a plant by just one leaf'. Got to see if it is special or just a freak growth. If it's all part of the same plant in that pot, the next question would be, what caused that freak growth and can we repeat it.

I would buy it just to look at that awesome leaf for as long as it's alive. Great find NextO!

So, what would likely happen if you rooted a section of such a yellow leaf? Would the yellow part root, and thus produce yellow pups? What if you nicked a yellow area and air layered it?

It's a lovely leaf, but I don't know if I'd be able to resist the urge to experiment.

Yes you would get a yellow plant from the yellow section but it probably rot first. Some have gotten yellow pups from the yellow section of plantings but it usually dies shortly after.

NextObsession, If it was me, I would buy that plant in a second. The next tiny leaf looks interesting as well. Go get it! Unless it is too over priced. Looks a little like 'Lillian True' (Slipped Strips), except that one leaf is to die for. I bet it's a different plant than the others in the same pot. If you do let us know!
