I love your pics of Eden! I had an infestation of leaf roller caterpillars this spring that destroyed almost every bud. It's nice to see it's beautiful blooms. Your others look great, too!

Love your Jubilee Celebration!! Man oh man!!! How long have you had your JC? I ask, because I see some blooms are hanging downward like mine do. I was hoping the plant would grow out of that habit. Doesn't take away from your gorgeous JCs!!!!! Wow!

'Lynn Anderson' (1st pic.) looks like she is imparting something very important to her neighbor. 'Rock & Roll' has made a corsage of itself!

'Livin' Easy' was always that gorgeous tangerine color here. Grew like gangbusters in lousy mountiain soil. Your 'Eden' pictures have re-awakened my lust for this climber. Not even going to look at the pink Austins. Sigh.

Dave, I'm sorry about your infestation of leaf roller caterpillars. Maybe other experienced rose gardeners here can give some suggestions on how to deal with it. One of the things I like most about sharing rose photos is some of us for one reason or another cannot have/see a certain rose, we still can enjoy the beautiful blooms from our garden friends in this forum.

Judy, thank you for the kind words. I'm inspired by the gorgeous gardens of you, your sister-in-law, Sharlene and others and just removed the grass section in my backyard and plan to make it look as pretty as the gardens I have seen here. I will need advices from you soon :)

Carol, this is the 2nd year of my Jubilee Celebration. It is a wonderful rose, big long lasting blooms, bloomming often in the heat, nice fragrance, great disease resistance for my area, etc. Because the blooms are big and have multiple petals, the law of gravity kicks in so the blooms droop a lot. It is hard to admire a bloom when you have a short bush and the blooms droop so close to the ground. So my way of working around this problem is potting it. It adds height to the plant and when the blooms droop it creates a very nice effect around the pot. I'm sorry about your Rock & Roll. I think you should try it again. It has everything one could wish for in a rose.

Irisgal, love your comments :) I feel the same. A photo of Eden rose got me interested in climbing roses. So even for my small garden I have three Eden. Many times I asked myself maybe I bit more than I can chew, lol. Helen

Dizzylizzy, Eden has minimal thorns. The blooms are gorgeous and last forever on the plant. However, it has no fragrant and is slow repeat. Helen
