It will be onion planting time soon. Which onions get the larger? 1015Y or Candy. A few years ago I bought Texas Sweet onion plants at Wal-Mart and all of them got as big as softballs. Since then I have been planting the 1015Y onions and they get baseball size with a few larger but none like the first Texas Sweets. I like the 1015Y as they are very sweet but I was wondering what was the difference? Or maybe it was just that year was more favorable for large onions.
