I think in a short time you could have a beautiful full pot of Ayo/Aubrytiana. They grow very fast and are gorgeous plants.

Yellow Variety

The ones I just saw are HUGE. Very wide and tall.

Now that yellow one is a whole other ball of wax! Killer!

These are both new to me….and I am envious. I love that green mottled look on the first ones posted….just beautiful, so tall and wide. I haven't seen anything like these where I live, but now I will be on the lookout and maybe will be lucky in the future. Thanks for posting, to everyone. Photos are beautiful.

No. This was a different seller. He was situated right next to the other one I usually like. The one I usually like didn't have anything interesting today.

It would be my luck I'd take a day off from work to go and no one would have anything good. Lol.

I have not seen these yet. The "yellow" look like variegated leaves......quite impressive on the original plant but I kind of think these will just pup normal green (or albino) pups(?).

Nancy, I looked at the Ayos being sold on ebay, the ones for $25. And guess what? They are coming from New York! I'm not sure I would spend $25 for it -- but I would certainly spend $12 if I were in New York. A no-brainer. Guess I will have to wait until someone cultivates and sells locally here in Florida. Once planted in the ground here, Sans grow like crazy and some are considered invasive -- so they are not usually too expensive. I love this Ayo variety -- so glad Manuel posted.

WoodNative, I was wondering the same thing. Wouldn't the pups from the yellow ones revert back green ?!

As long as you have part of the rhizome the yellow should stay. That shouldn't be right for leaf cuttings. I hope it's different for this plant.
