Valflower, there could be many reasons your picture ended up in someone else's ideabook. It could be just an accident. That person might not even be on this site anymore to answer you. Don't take it so hard.

Vaflower, by uploading a photo you agreed to Houzz's terms of use. Here is an excerpt:

Below the area where you upload a picture it states:

That person did nothing wrong. Houzz lets users to add photos to their idea books or send them through an email. I don't see why this is a problem, after all, we share pictures with others here (as a side effect, Houzz gets them for their use). Why are you upset that someone added your photo to her/his idea book? If that person liked your photo and wants to keep it close, what's wrong with that? If you don't want your photos be copied, don't post them on the Internet. We share pictures, seeds, advice and ideas here. It is supposed to be fun, not worry. All the best.

if uploading a pic says you own it, then she is in violation. You own it, she does not. But since Houzz took over this site it has turned into a bunch of beggars, not traders. so it does not surprise me that someone would do this. anyone know where the real TRADERS have gone?

I've noticed there's not much trading going on too. Hopefully it'll pick up when the weather cools some, It's been in the 90's here for 5 weeks now,,, way above normal for my area.

It will never go back to the way it was because houzz will not provide the search members trade list function. I have sent emails asking if Monsanto is one of their contributors and have never gotten a response. I love to trade seeds and have yet to find a good source for trading since gardenweb has gone. I have no problem giving away seeds but as someone else has posted, way to many beggars on here now. Trade anyone???
