So sorry... but have found weevils in the seeds as I was cleaning them today. Please don't ask for them as they are going into the trash. :((

i have found it is common with hollyhocks, hibiscus too, unfortunately.

here's
an anti bug trick...once you harvest the seeds and dry them for a little bit,
put them in the freezer briefly overnight or maybe 2 days time. this
will kill the bugs and their eggs.

then you have to
meticulously go through them though, cause i think the ones with the
holes they make wont sprout, but usually you can salvage some of the
better unaffected seeds this way.
