It looks like the early new growth of English Ivy. You don't want to let that get a foothold or it will take over everything.

Doesn't look like an Ivy (Hedera) at all actually. Does look like a Morning Glory - probably a nuisance kind that needs to be promptly attacked and kept after.

I probably had some of that mixed in with the ivy that grew from it's original spot 50 feet from my patio flower beds (in the common area) and overtook my beds, making it necessary for me to spend a good year digging it all out, roots included.
