I am posting a few photos of some my Immense plants for you.

Easy to propagate

And finally if you put it in a big container, you can get a very big plant. The problem is finding a spot for it in winter though. This is in an 18" container. The fence is 3' tall.

Yes it looks just like it! Thank you. I have the rhizome half buried in some mix and I have covered it to keep the hummidity up. Fingers crossed. You have very beautiful plants. So neat to see them. :)

Looking great Danielle! Just get it under lights or next to a bright window and like you said - watch the watering - it does seem thirsty at times.

Hi, I have actually been looking for a rooted division of this plant fro some time now. I am in the Toronto, Canada area. My parents had one of these forever, so for sentimental value, I would like one. This is one of those hand-me-down heirloom plants that you never find in garden centres. I actually did have one quite a few years ago, but when it had outgrown my apartment at the time, so I just left it outside one winter...

I realize, either of you might live in the States, but I would pay up to $50 for a rooted division. I guess its just a matter of what can cross the border :-(

I am hoping someone can help me out!.

I don't know if we can send it across the border these days. I tried sending some cuttings of aconitifolia to a woman in Sweden earlier this year but the post office turned me down. While the world has gotten smaller via the web and jet travel, the border wars have made it impossible to ship some things these days.

ok. I did order some cuttings of Christmas cactus through amazon via someone in Michigan. So, I thought maybe it might be easier between US and Canada and if they are cuttings. But maybe I just got lucky..I will read up on it some more.. Otherwise I will try again to look for it locally. Thanks.

Maybe shipping of live plants is okay between Canada and the US. Let us know what you find out. I shipped a box of cuttings to a woman on Prince Edward Island 3 or 4 years ago but rules/laws change rapidly these days.
