I've only heard of Craigslist. Interesting that this question would come up. Lately I've been wondering if there is an outlet for the many items replaced in newly renovated or redecorated Houzz homes. I see many things I'd be interested in buying and wonder if there is a "go-to" site like Craigslist but just for these decor interests.

I am going to try Craigslist and Ebay, but I too, was hoping there was something more "design" based.

I have used home consignment center in CA. A good consignment center would likely fetch more than Craigslist, since Craigslist is crammed with loads of junk. They have the advantage of good foot traffic. Most online sites don't seem to really work because shipping is prohibitive.

It would be an interesting add-on to Houzz. A second-hand "store". Furniture is hard, shipping and all, also leftover tile and hardwood, but linens, decor, art, that would be doable, Anything can ship if you want to pay for it and go through the work. I, myself, have no idea HOW to do something like this but it would be nice if it were done!

Consignment stores are perfect. If you can find them. Maybe a local antique dealer would give up floor space as a trial thing to see if different items would sell.
