Agree with dannie's good instructions.

I would add that a south facing window might be too strong for the plant, especially since the plant was growing under artificial light. You could keep the plant far back from the window and gradually move it closer as it adapts to higher light. You might lose the flowers if the plant receives too much/strong light.

Make sure the plant does not sit in water as dannie explained.

Thanks! It is far from the window, but I am still worried about it receiving too much light as the room is naturally bright. I'll have to monitor it closely.

Once the plant is done blooming you will probably need to take it out of its plastic pot and repot it back in the same pot with new spaghnum moss and orchid bark. They usually come shipped in moss wrapped tightly around the roots in the center. It is easy for the roots to rot because the moss is too wet when it is packed that way. You will want to trim off any dead roots when you are repotting.

The flowers are falling off this plant. Could the light be the issue, or it is perhaps just finished blooming? I do not have the plant near the window, but it still gets much more natural light compared to where it previously lived.

It's probably done blooming if it's already been blooming for some weeks. Do the leaves still look healthy?
