I just won a s. hallii super pink on ebay. Didn't notice the 'pink' in the photo. Does anyone else have one?

I have one, it's more orange than pink. It's one of my favorite plants. It has a number R something (I've forgotten). The orange runs up the leaves from the base - the green is more of an olive green because of the underlying orange.

I woukd have been bidding against you, Stuart, but I'm on a Sans diet. I did look good and hard at that one though. Did you get the other two as well? The lumpy ehrenbergeri and the striped hallii?

Me too but no means at this time. With any luck I'll run into some interesting Sans at the InterCity C&S show tomorrow. Oh and it's R2470 - the one I bought anyway. Here is a pic:

All I find around here are Whitneys and a pot full of small Fernwoods. I do live 45 minutes from Bob Smoley's, but since his passing I'm stalling to get there.

I understand how you feel about Bob Smoley's but wild horses wouldn't be able to drag me away from there if I lived close by.

Waiting for my shipment of new sans. Just checked the 'silver blue' and it has 2 new leaves coming out and a pup! The roots are coming out of the bottom of the pots on a lot of the sans in less than 2 months.

That's great! It must be hot where you are. How big are the pots you put them in?

NextObsession, The pots are 6 inches for the smaller sans but that doesn't seem to work. The patens I split up are already crammed in their pots with new offsets. Since June it's been mostly 90+ and we just had over 6 inches of rain the past week. Everything is doing great. My masoniana put out 2 leaves since July. Both are over 2 feet tall and 6 inches wide and still growing (in the ground on the north side of the house).
