Here is the existing dining room. I want to keep the rug and curtains.

Here is one more picture of the dinner room. I need suggestions as to cover or not cover the chair back. I also need to replace the light and the lights on the wall. I am open to opinions. I am wanting the room in neutrals.

Traditionally, end chairs are known as host and hostess chairs and are a little more luxe than the rest of the chairs. In Britain, the host's chair is known as a carver.

The ones without fabric back look like they might be kinda uncomfortable to sit back on???? I'd get them all fabric backed. I guess I'm not a fan of the whole host/hostess thing. It seems pretentious to expect that two members of the dinner party are more important and deserve a fancier chair. I'm egalitarian that way I guess.
