Hello, a new Sans fan is born !

Hello all,

Well, how to put this ... I've always been in love with plants and I have always owned a few common Sans cultivars.

For a long period my job required frequent four to six months periods away from home, making it impossible to look after plants in a satisfying way (I had to "use" my friends as caretakers, for better or worse ...). But from now on I will be less on the road and thanks to eBay I have been able to start a decent collection of my dream Sans.

I live in the north east of France, in the nice region of Alsace. My plants are indoor all year long, but my flat has large windows facing south so they receive plenty of light even in winter.

So ... here are a few pics of my Sans., some of them I have for a few months, others just arrived by mail in the last few weeks !

I have to repot my oldest ones in a perlite-cactus soil mix, and most of them have pepper on the soil ... My younger cat is a fan of Sans too I guess !

In the middle you can see my "nursery", those are leaf cuttings in mostly perlite soil. I have to protect them against my cat since last week one of those leaf cuttings disappeared !

In the back you can see my thriving S. Trifasciata, I repotted it a few months ago and since July it's pupping in every corner of the pot.

Here is a less bright corner of my living room. I choose to put non variegated cultivars there, I think they will cope with less light well.

And here are some of my oldest ones. I can't resist making copies of them, the S Hahnii Marginated are all pups who popped last year.

Voilà, I hope you enjoyed seeing those babies, I have pics of each one but I don't want to annoy you with tons of pictures, let me know if you want to see a cultivar close up.

Bye all, have fun with your Sans. !

Savantfou.
