This Violet was my husband's grandmothers who passed away. I have had it for years and it has been healthy and beautiful. Recently my mother brought me african violet food since she said she couldn't keep hers alive and therefore didn't need it. While putting a few drops on the pot the top popped off and the liquid got all over the plant. I washed it off but the violet started rotting away. I have taken it out trimmed the dead areas and changed soil, but it still is not coming back. Is there anything else I can do?
