How do I prune my Fiddle Leaf Fig

Hi - can anyone provide information on how to prune my fiddle leaf fig? It has two branches and they are growing out to the sides, are unbalanced, and unruly. I would love to somehow get a new branch growing straight up and trim down the sides. Is this possible? Any recommendations would be VERY appreciated. Thanks! -Angie
