Oooh, it does! At least they are dumb enough to include flower colors that are obviously manipulated. What gets me is when a novice purchases these seeds and finds out later that they received dandelions or chives or whathaveyou!

Because it is extremely difficult to PROVE that the seller knowingly falsely advertized something. They could claim they were just using the ebay stock photo as representation. As for the seeds, themselves, not many people know what a hoya seed looks like, much less, how to distinguish it from any other seed with fluff. By the time that seedling has shown that it is a dandelion or whatever, the buyer has usually already left positive feedback that they received the item and it was germinating, or they have competely forgotten about feedback, altogether. And, by that time, the 30 day return policy has expired and the seller has sold more seeds to the next unsuspecting buyers.

This is the main reason I never leave feedback on seeds until they are past their cotyledon stage and true leaves are present.

Most buyers won't amend feedback, either...not that you can amend it much, in the first place. You cannot change a positive to a negative, you can only add to your existing feedback, and ebay even made that difficult to figure out.

I can definitely see the difficulty in that, aurora. :( Sometimes I wonder about eBay, whose side they're on... they make some things awfully difficult in the event you're dissatisfied with a purchase. Amazon will let you upload pics, edit your feedback and re-edit it again. Including the rating.
