Hi Daniel, I totally understand. For finishes, we can use either a matte, semi-matte or gloss look. The main picture of the listing is white oak and it has a matte finish. As for types of wood, I have attached the wood types along with the picture so you would know which type of wood you can choose from. If you end up ordering, just let us know what type of wood you would like, for some reason there is not a menu for wood type like there is for size. I will try and get that fixed. I hope this helps.
