I have a couple of old Tramontina Pro pans that I got at Sam's or Costco that have lasted 10+ years and have out lasted any 12" pan I have bought. I recently replaced the 12" with a Tramontina Pro. I t is hard to say if it will be as well made as the other 2. So far so good.

Thanks ... so good to hear the same good results I have had! Was yours the orange (made in Italy ? .. or the newer red ones made in the USA? Where is the Tremontina Pro made?

These are bare aluminum on the outside with a rubber handle. They are all (newer and older) made in the US. I think the liner in the new one might be different as they are PFOA free now. Hopefully they last as long.

Thanks, I had not seen these bare aluminum ones yet! I hope they are as good ... sad at times when a company has a good product they then try & push an inferior product to sell under their older good name! Hope this is not true though here. I must confess that I have been rather rough with these older pans yet they are as stick-proof as before ... even with scratches! Love them :)
