Growing under Lights

question about ventilation

I recently ordered a parabolic 600W hps grow light system for which I wish to place my outdoor plants indoors for the fall/winter months, (lemon/lime/cactus and some new seedling vegetables), I will be placing this setup in my garage which isnt heated very much, do I need some kind of fan? there's no inline cutout in the parabolic setup i got:

let me know your opinions please? I prefer not to have any fans if possible or just a small walmart fan since the garage is cold in the winters anyways, is that ok?

What zone are you? How cold is your garage without lighting?

During my zone 5 winter, I grew plants under 2000 watts of lighting, without a fan, in a basement room that otherwise would have been about 40 deg. F.. For ventilation, I just left the door to the room open. The temperature was about 80 deg. F. with the lighting and the dark period temperature did not drop much. In your garage, it will probably drop much more when the lights are off.
