My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Have studied the wick watering system using the jam mason jar. I think that's neat and cute; but, how do you get the water inside the jar after the violet has grown beyond the sides of the jar? Do you gently turn it up-side-down and hold the plant in your hand and put the water in the jar?
I do not think that it is a good idea - one of these days you will end with a big mess on the floor. Since it is held by the rim of the pot ... try to get it by this rim.
