My Heucheras

It's been quiet on this forum and since I love to see pictures of people's plants I thought it might get things going again if we posted pictures of our heucheras from this season. Here are a few of mine.

Caramel

Carnival Fall Festival

Autumn Leaves

Peach Flambé

From bottom: Palace Purple, Limeade, unknown (one I divided this year and is not doing well)

Hercules (I had to divide it this year and this was a tiny little piece of about 3-4 leaves that is coming back well)

Serendipity, how many years have you had yours? Most of mine are new this year. the few I had in pots on my patio came back this year nice and full.

Getting ready for a spring project.

I'm still tweaking it - I'll post pics when I'm done.

I especially love Caramel. Yours look so happy and healthy. I think I only have only left because I thought they looked frumpy and unkept. I'll reconsider!

I have two caramels and they are my largest heucheras...they have done well in both part shade and full sun. Don't give up! I was sceptical until this year when they finally started flourishing and showing what they had. I love all the different varieties of Heucheras - so many pretty ones!

Great looking heuchera! I have a Miracle also, I like the pattern on the leaf. Looks like I need to get outside and take some pictures to post. Thanks for sharing!

Sherry, Miracle is one of my favourites for that reason as well. I do like the ones with deep veining or patterns. Unfortunately, I haven't found many like that in my area. Yes, post some pics!

RPwoodard, I really like the lime green with dark veins and yellow and red one. I've seen them both before but forgot their names. My plants range from 1-3 years old. I'm going to try a planter next year with a heuchera as the focal point and see how it does. I'm glad your pots came back nice and full!

Both plants you mentioned are heucherella.

The lime green w/burgundy veins is Alabama Sunrise. Stoplight is similar.

The yellow & red one is Solar Eclipse.

The Alabama Sunrise in the pot above I ended up splitting & putting in another pot. They're thriving this summer. I like to include coleus in the heuchera & heucherella pots.
