Yes I agree it's S. tri. Hahnii Streaker. I have several now. Pups like crazy and seems every leaf is different. Some look like Golden Hahnii and I have some all yellow ones too. Even twisted like that.

Love it! This one is on my wishlist for sure!

Oh Patty, I am absolutely green with envy. What a beautiful plant, and what spectacular luck you've had to find it. I've wanted a Streaker since I first saw it a couple of years ago, but they've been rare in the US. You have found such a lovely specimen. It really is beautiful. Did you buy it at a local shop, or order it online? If it's from somewhere I can mail-order, please tell us. I know I'm not the only one here who goes into a tizzy just at the site of this cultivar.

I'm glad to hear that it reproduces so prolifically. Maybe it'll become more available in the U.S. because of it.

I wish you the best of luck growing it. May you have so many pups that you have to give them away or be overrun with Sans! ;-)

Thank you, kwie :-) I found it at my local garden center. Someone at this garden center has a little love affair going with Sansevierias, apparently, because I've gotten all kinds of cool cultivars there. I happened to see this little guy sort of languishing on a Sale bench and though, "Hmm, folks here don't know what a find this is, going home with me!" So, for five bucks, I got myself a nice little specimen. Sansevierias love it here in my area, inside and outside, so they're fun to grow because they are so carefree and easy.

Here in the moss capital of the world, Sans are a bit more difficult, but there is a nursery I used to go that sometimes has things like 'Whitney' or 'moonshine, or S. cylindrica. I haven't stopped by there in months. Thank you for reminding me to keep checking that place.

Kwie, I'll have more come late spring. I am just sending one out right now but I love them so much I have trouble parting with one. I will keep you in mind. Look for pictures soon. I take a full set before I bring my collection in for the winter. Which is less than 4 weeks away with this latest warm spell.

You are a good soul, Stush. I will check back in with you. It's great that you get multiple pups in a year. My growing season is SO short here for Sans. I did just by a light and another heater though. I told myself I would not go to such lengths for plants, but I'm an addict.

Sorry Stush, I didn't type that very clearly. The hobbit, variegated, and wavy jades are three different plants. The hobbit and wavy are plain green.

You got lucky; I've been looking for a "Red Horn Tree" for years. It's the only Jade missing from my collection... I've never seen a variegated Hobbit, but the "Legolas" is a form of variegated "Gollum" and it's beautiful. That's another one I could never afford to get; they are very expensive when you can find one!

Mary, If you want a cutting and not sure if they will root for you? Message me your address and I can send you one. My pant is small but I can afford one small cutting. Postage is about $3. That's all I ask. Do you like Philodendron Bipennifolium? Got lots of cuttings with roots.

If you guys are still talking about the 'Hobbit' Jade, don't cut yours, Stush. I already have a little rooted cutting I can send to Mary. No point in taking a cutting from yours if it's still a small plant.

Mary, if I'm understanding correctly that Stush already has a Hobbit, and you'd like one, email me. My email is just my user name here at AOL.com. The cutting I have is small, but it's rooted in a peat pellet and growing. I'm sure a Jade collector will have no problem growing it.

Hi kwie thanks for the generous offer, but I have a fairly big Hobbit in my collection, it's the Red Horn Tree that I've been looking for for several years. Stush was gracious enough to offer me a cutting and I'm very excited! Lots of great people on this forum!!

Sorry Mary, My Jade is just too small. After looking it over for an hour, Just couldn't cut one of the only two branches. I'll be posting my Jade collection on the other post and some items I do have spares of.

No worries Stush, I would hate for you to hurt your Jade for my sake. I'm sure some day I will find one...
