I would go with green, I think gray will make the room looked washed out with the light color of the cabinets and the counter. Why be safe when you can be bold!

I would not paint a kitchen a random color like green, stick with something neutral that flows with the rest of the house. I'm assuming the paint is to cover the orange and that the back splash will cover the pink (?) as that's what should happen.

I like the idea of green. I think gray would blend too much with your counters and your flooring, which both appear to be a light gray from the photos.

I would do a gray/ green that works with the gray in the other space.

HI all ! cpaul1; the orange is actually the same salmon/pink as the rest of the kit., not sure we're doing a separate backsplash. The green is because I'm a fan, & I plan to hang some pastoral artwork ( English countryside, sheep) in here I thought it would go well with. A classy 'restored New England farmhouse", yet down-to-earth, & on a small budget is what i have in mind I guess. And that goes ok with a cream & brick split level . Also, yeah, that's why I was thinking gray again, but the cabinet color will make that real tricky & hard to predict the outcome i think. The counters & floor are gray & beige respectively, the counters are tacky & will get replaced when we can, maybe with concrete. The gray-green sounds about right, any suggestions on a specific color ? I have a paint chip of SW's "softened green" here, is it still too green ? -
