Hi. I've mostly had experience with leafy greens in aeroponic system. For me 3 minutes off , 1 minute on works well - but that can be increased in warm weather. I don't know where you live but you have an Estonian name - so hot weather may not be a problem for you! I know garlic will grow in an aeroponic system - as it is a root crop and misting systems are ideal for it. We grew a couple from garlic cloves and they went OK. As garlic is a bulb - my suggestion is you could research hydroponic or aeroponic growing out of other bulbs - like tulips. The Dutch are heavily into hydroponics - and tulips.
