Google is your friend. There are lots of images out there as examples of how to do this with adeniums but the most effective do seem to be the ones that some portion is cut away and they are grafted together. Parafilm style tape or super glue do seem to be the most widely used.

Simply binding them is going to require the grafting or other tape to remain in place a long time and I foresee the likely hood of deforming the stems or caudexes or outright damaging them for lack of the plants being able to circulate fluids. They are more tender than hardwoods. Even getting a rubber band or a wire a little too tight for too long on an adenium is more serious than with other bonsai.

I think they're still too young to play with. If you want to create a double caudex, cut & glue along edges using Elmer's waterproof wood glue ... They will fuse. Never bind the new stems / developing caudex.

Rats, don't you have to follow each other to be able to send a message on this silly system? I forgot that. I remember his seedlings grew bigger stuck together. Whether they fused was less obvious because they were too young yet. I slice them myself but I haven't tried that on seedlings this small.

You don't have to follow anyone to message them. I don't follow anybody here yet but I message people freely. The message alerts may be less obvious but I got in the habit of looking for them.

Messaging is set up individually by each user under "Advanced Settings" - The default is messaging OFF, where no MESSAGE icon appears on the user profile and no one can message you. You can leave it off to block all messages or you can block specific users. You can accept messages from all users or from only those who follow you. Again, messaging is an individial choice at each user's discretion.

Thanks everyone - I saw that thread, and his adenium seemed younger than mine, so I was thinking I might try starting this now. However, I've always heard to wait until there are 6 leaves before messing with the seedlings. Their growth seemed to slow a bit recently - maybe because its been cloudy, but I thought switching to gritty mix would be more conducive to growth compared to soil. I'll wait a couple more weeks and give it a shot.
